Joakim Petersson is a tattoo artist and visual artist from Falkenberg on the west coast of Sweden.

From an early age, he explored creativity through music, drawing, graffiti and painting. His work is influenced by artists such asBasquiat, Warhol, Banksy creating a style where contemporary art and tattooing naturally come together.

JP began tattooing at the age of 29 as an apprentice at Pistolero Tattoo in Borås. After returning to Falkenberg in 2016, he spent nearly six years at Hamngatan 15 Tattoo while also building an international clientele through regular guest work in Los Angeles.

In 2024, he opened his own studio JP Tattoos & Art Studio in Falkenberg, Sweden. Since August 2026, tattoo artist Sanna Eklund has joined the studio, bringing her own artistic style and helping expand the creative vision of the studio.
